Working at heights
Workers on construction projects who use fall protection devices must take a working at heights training program. The program must be: approved by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development's Chief Prevention Officer, delivered by a training provider who has been approved by the Chief Prevention Officer, taken before a worker can use fall protection
Protecting Your Employees During a Pandemic
Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act says that employers and supervisors should “take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker.” This is known as the general duty clause, but what it means in an uncertain period such as during a pandemic is a question many employers have been asking WSPS.
